Enough with fake news
It is unbelievable to hear the hatred towards Trump when all he's doing is to protect the Americans, not the illegal aliens or citizens of another country. To me Trump is an outsider unlike other long-serving politicians who have not delivered and can't be trusted; a successful businessman with long experience in ups and downs; now a disruptive President making waves all over. Americans should just give him a chance to disrupt the old ways that clearly hasn't worked. At worst they can always elect another President in 8 years (I'm hoping he wins a second term) and go back to the old ways. There's already far worst damage done under Bush and Clinton. So what's the worst thing Trump could do now? War in Middle East? Climate change? Global trade collapse? US fiscal deficit? Really? I have more respect for the crude remarks from a President who pointed out the reality of things and stood by his beliefs rather than hearing the Obamas or Clintons out there lying through their teeths. And the fact that he's making other politicians unhappy clearly shows the legacy and useless administration needs to be changed. These politicians have been there all this time and nothing good ever happens. Its time for the outsider Trump to deliver change now. And change is already happening.

Trump triumph
Alhamdulillah... my prayers have been answered and today America is on its way to be great again.
So long Clinton. I hope she takes a good long rest and let others clean up her husband's and her own mess.
At midnight Malaysia time Hillary still not yet given her concession speech. Her action is not just unpresidential-like, but also shows that she has no respect for her supporters and too arrogant to accept a defeat. If I were her supporter I would be more disappointed with the way she reacted to her defeat than the result itself. Shame on you Clinton. Be a good sport and respect the decision of the basket of deplorables.

Casino pilgrimage...
I finally did the most significant visit of my life... a visit to the gambling Mecca Vegas, decades after my gaming coverage in my sell-side analyst days. Back then I can only visualize the mammoth super structures with unlimited casino space. This was a long overdue ambition that came about long before Singapore started to build its own casinos.

Solat hajat untuk kejayaan Donald Trump
I wish to organise a solat hajat for Donald Trump to win the US Presidential election. He is a stronger leader than Hilary. He doesn't lie and he has guts to say what he means without worrying what other people think. If Hilary wins, she will just be another President carrying the same US agenda all over the world. Trump at least cares more about his own people, and couldn't care less about the rest. May be this is what we need.
So let us all pray for Trump to win.

God like King
Interesting news this morning about a laborer sentenced to jail for insulting a royalty. This probably only happens in Malaysia. I don't know what the insult was that so-called tarnished the image of that royalty, but interesting to see the outcome resulted in a total loss of life (livelihood, reputation, job prospects etc.) for the poor laborer. Even paedophiles can't compare to that. Which led me thinking... I've insulted god in the past after some bad luck I had at times, but it seems god had forgiven me and let me carry on my life. Or perhaps the payback comes after life. Only god knows but at least I now know I have a better chance living this life insulting god than insulting a royalty.

Datuk Alan Tong is an idiot
Why? Becos having read his article entitled 'cars are more expensive than houses' makes me wonder if this old guy a fool or senile. Firstly, its simply wrong to compare cars, a consumption good vs. houses, a basic need but also an investment asset, like stocks which are open to speculation. Secondly, it doesnt take a genius to see how entry-level car prices hardly moved over the last 20 years vs the rise in entry-level executive income and entry-level houses. I can still afford a Kancil if I graduate today. But for the same terrace house in KL, the gap has widen even after working over 20 years. So you have to be a retard to say cars are more expensive than houses.
I can see his agenda trying to defend the industry but dont assume readers are stupid.

Government credit deserves a credit
Finance theory has long told us that government credit is the most reliable credit of all. It can cover its obligations by raising more debt or printing more money, or raise taxes to generate more revenue, or shut down operations to cut expenses. There is no other credit better than the government. That is why it is called risk free. You don't need to go to finance school to know that.
What gets on my nerve is when some politicians argue that pension funds should not own government credit. Are they living on Mars or what? Look at US, Japan, Euro all over. Government credit is what keeps the market going and keeps pension funds afloat, fueling the equity market. It is sad how these irresponsible politicians led the people to question the credibility of long respected institutions just for the sake of targeting the single leadership.
Someone must put a stop to all this circus. If it is a campaign against one entity or one person, keep it that way. Don't drag other innocent institutions down.
