Justice... finally

Alhamdulillah, with the final verdict on Anwar the rest of us can move on with our lives. Too much time and energy have been wasted to defend one disgruntled politician when there are so many other citizens just couldn't be bothered with politics. To me, when one enters politics, one should expect a circus of some sort and not drag others into their selfish fight. It is ludicrous to think that the entire country's justice system is compromised from this one case. And even more sad to see my close relatives taking this news emotionally and in tears. These are the so-called devout Muslims who pray five times a day, fasting and all. I may not be as good Muslim as they are, but at least I take things in moderation and worry more about my own judgement rather than the judgement on others. The hypocrisy are written all over their faces but I chose to stay silent (except in this blog of course). If there is a country that has a squeaky clean system, I like to know where that is. Otherwise, just give it a rest.
