A bit of research should help

In yet another case of uninformed and emotional public, what is seen to be a good acquisition of a prime land is now the subject of scrutiny on a local pilgrimage fund. It is sad that the people, once again, reacted emotionally without doing their own homework and proper research. I thought Malaysians are better than that.

Earlier there was even talk about putting injunctions against local funds from subscribing to a power IPO. It was as if these funds are ran by monkeys who just took orders from the top. Please laa... we may just `makan gaji' but we didn't get our degrees and CFAs for nothing. Give us the respect we deserve. Despite all the controversies, there is still value in the asset. Everything has a price, even your solid waste can be in demand if you price it right.

I know it won't end but I really hope these people can just channel their energy somewhere else and not bring innocent institutions down in their quest to rule the world.
